Why do people Change country name into their Langues?

I mean also most do this. Spainish and English are just two I know that do it.

The French call us Les Etats-Unis and the Spanish call us Los Estados Unidos. Those crazy foreigners.

Absurd...This concept of changing the country name is really absurd...it is unnecessary rather...waste of time, resources and cause for confusion...

Should we all speak English (or Japanese, or Spanish or whatever) all the time? Aren't we allowed to speak our own language?
