People that are saying the don't like the look or that it is dated are just lacking in vision. I am a stylist and I own a salon in a small Midwestern town. I love to see the local women step out of the confines of the masses. Crimped hair will always have a place it might not be in a day to day style but if your going out dancing or to see a show and you have the outfit that would look great with it never be afraid to crimp it up and make people wish that they had the ability and confidence to step up and be their own fashion icon.

Brings to mind one thing and one thing only. That chick from the Howard the Duck movie in the 80's.
HORRIBLE is not descriptive enough but then again, they don't make adequate adjectives for a crimp!

I haven't saw any-ones hair crimped for a long time. So I assume it's out of style.

The looser crimps are nice, but the ones that are smaller make peoples hair look poofy.

I call it wavy hair and think if it's done right and looks right, it's fine, but if it looks like you stuck your finger in an outlet, then you shouldn't have it.

It looks ok on some celebs when the pros do it, but most of the time I dont like it.

I like it, not too kinky, but kind of more spaced apart if you know what I mean (relaxed, I guess).

Oh god - it was ugly when we did it in the 80s and its still pretty awful :)
