Because God hates kids. Can you blame him? They're loud and annoying, they smell and make messes everywhere they go. Oh wait, that's how I feel.

Maybe I'm God?

Shoot, while we are asking, why didn't He prevent the 50 million Eastern Orthodox Christians in the past century? Or how about what happened to the Greeks in the early part of the last century?

God did do something, He made YOU. He made me. He made alot of people who could do something about it. But when we choose to turn the other way, and not care, then WE let God down.

How about all the martyrs that died over the years? They died praising God with their lips.

You can't have it both ways, you can't have the option to choose, and not the results of it. This is a world where you may choose to sin or not sin. God can't give us free will if we don't get the results of that will, good or bad. So choose to live a good life!

Maybe he did. Maybe three or four million children would have died. We can't know.

The difficult things in life are what make us stronger. Without challenges to struggle against, there can be no self improvement- there is no reason for it.

God gives us gifts and lessons. How else would we know not to do things like that anymore? Because some dumba$$ did and that's what happened.

Eventually people will learn that we are all beautiful creations of a loving higher power. It's just going to take a while and we are going to have to get stronger in the mean time.

When Adam and Eve listened to Satan ,it's like they rebelled against God and chose Satan as their ruler. Satan claimed that if they listen to him they will fair better that with God. God has allowed Satan to continue ruling the world to prove once and for all if what Satan said is true. We can all see the problems on the earth now which prove without reasonable doubt that Satan is a terrible ruler.

Soon however, God will remove Satan and make things happen the way he always wanted. Then there will be no more problems like now. What's more, the poor victims of all the crimes that have ever happened have the hope of being resurrected by God.

God gave man dominion over the earth in the garden of Eden. God also gave authority over man to men.

The fruition of the Third Reich and Hitler in the 1920's and '30's, is the result of World War I and the change in governing styles of Europe.

Europe was coming out of the long styled monarchy or emperor forms of government. Those who could, muscled their way to power, many with devastation results.

Many people in Germany were looking for a leader, unfortunately many blindly followed the evil dictates of Hitler. It was well known that Hitler suffered from Syphilis, which has staggering effects on the brain.

Few stood against him and many went to their deaths. Satan used him to strike at God's chosen people, to remove the name of Israel from the earth. Strangely enough, Hitler's mother was of Jewish descent.

Though the Jews were not the only victims of this evil, they were the main focus of Satan and those who serve him.

Though many children were murdered at the hands of the Nazi maniacs, rest assured, these children are not suffering now, but are in the arms of a loving God.

One day they will live again and walk on the earth, never remembering what happened.

A man does as he sees fit in his own eyes, the end thereof is death.

Dear Philo Soper,

If you had read Genesis (first book in the Bible), you would have known that the Lord (Jesus Christ) created man and put him into a perfect environment (Garden of Eden). He was to tend the garden. You must remember that in this perfect garden Adam (the first human) did not have to fight with insect pests, droughts, or other farming problems that we have today. You must also remember that Adam in the Garden was not plagued with any diseases that healthcare needs to deal with today. The Lord also gave Adam a mate, Eve, by opening Adam's side and forming his wife from one of his ribs. Also there was no pain of any kind in the garden.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God (Jesus Christ), they were expelled from the Garden of Eden. With this expulsion came spiritualual death from their sin and the curse of God upon the perfect world that He had created. The spiritual death of Adam and Eve meant that they were separated from life (God) and were now under the wrath of God--which would culminate with them going to eternal hell unless the Lord was to intercede.
From that rebellion to God (sin) also came a sinful nature. That sin nature is in every human being from his/her parents. That sin nature causes one to be proud, selfish, covetous, complaining, lustful, hateful, etc. It is only God's mercy that He restrains sin in man or man would destroy himself. What occurred in the Holocaust was not attributable to the Lord but to man!! As you see in the news today, the horrible crimes that fill our newspapers and T.V. news would not even have been contemplated 15 years ago! Why is this? The Lord has withdrawn His restraint on man as we near the end of th world and Judgment Day. Why do you see perversion in the churches today? Because God has left the churches (2 Thessalonians 2). From examining the Bible, it appears that the end of the world may occur in 2011 A.D. Incidently, this is not a day or an hour, it is a year. This conclusion takes careful study of the Bible.

There is a God who was very hurt by the cruelty that occurred during the holocaust. God created man with free will and He wont violate that, so when Hitler decided to do his dirty work, God could not intervene. If a person who believes in Jesus prays and asks God something in Jesus name, it can happen. I don't say this to hurt any feelings, its bible.

The proper question is why did the holocaust happen. Not why God did nothing. You don't know that God did nothing. Also you are in error on your question because you used the word if! There is no "if" when it comes to God. God is. Also should God intervene in every transgression you would be smitten down for your question.

never ever question about where god was in the holocaust.i have half my neighbourhood full of suvivers.it`s un -ethical to even ask such a question.god gave man to think and do as one thought fit.the way of the lord or the way of man.man chose evil to do these terrible crimes against humanity.each of us can choose which path to take in life.hitler ,idi amin, suddam.bin laden and many many other evils are still doing mass murders today .look what is happening in dafur, and other african countries.and read your bible.maybe you can find the answers that you are looking for, from mikhal in israel.

Here is something you may not know about god. Yes he might be good, and very powerful. Ok, but god cannot control free will. If your life plan was to be murdered in the holocaust then that is what happened. I believe we make our own life plan god doesn't. But he, our angels, and our spirit guides can help if we get ourselves in too deep.

hey,

of course there is a god, why nothing happened bcoz god gives us minds, so we can think, we can do a lot of things to prevent these things. yes god can prevent these things if he wants but if he did this what is our role in this life. to be dolls. what u prefer to be like doll or to be a human can think. can solve problems, so can make a change??

if god inter meddle in every things, so the world will be prefect, also humans will be perfect. then why one of his adjectives: forgivable?!

if god don't want to give us space to act as we like, as we think it is the right way to act, then why he create us?!

yes god there, and be sure that he will be always there to take care of us. also be sure he will never treat us as dolls. he gives us every things to improve this life, to try to make it better, but will we do this job in the right way??

we have minds, so we can prevent the killing, we can
stop wars, so why we don't admit our responsibility?!

i guess we have to admit, we have to create better world.
and the most important thing we have to believe that god
is there and he can do what ever he want, when he want.
