I want him to deal with it, and he seems willing, but just not able. Recently, I asked him the bottom line was, what would be different. Now, he has not answered yet. I am finding this conversation very frustrating and cannot stop thinking about it in order to get on with my life. What should I do?

Well only you know what you willing to take an give of yourself. If you will to try again you have to go into it open hearted but not as a fool cause you know he could change things, but you want to work it out so when he doesn't have an ansewer for you just know that you have one for him. I want you, you hurt me .but I think this is worth our time to make it work. Just let him know actions speak launder than words, but you willing to try but he has got to let you know some how that your the one an only and that he wants this as much as you do. If he does then you will know an you want have to have him tell you his actions will speak alot louder than anything he could ever say

I am going through the same thing. I asked my ex what the difference would be and he gave me a lame answer. He said that I wont let the past go but he right I can't. I told him we need to have some serious talk and then as time goes on I need to see the change. That willing pissed him off. So I decided its not worth it. You need to make sure that it will be different or their going to be lost of unnecessary pain.
