Many Christians seem to be taught that they have to be closed off to any other spiritual thought because it could corrupt them or somehow hinder their faith and lead them astray.
Today I had a lady ask me what a pagan was - she recoiled in fear at the mere thought that someone could have a different religion than that of Christianity. And to learn more about it would somehow affect her relationship with Christ.
The fear that is created in most Christian churches is amazing to me- why would anyone fear someone else's beliefs or think that they can cause you to change your beleifs is beyond me.
If you are strong in your faith and belief - how can anyone or anything change it?

Christinity says, looking at a women with a bad intention is a sin.
Christianity says, love not only your neighbour, but all the unknown even if he/she do sin against you.
Christianity says, if you marry or think of marrying another woman/man while your spouse is live, is a sin.
Christianity says, Praying loud is of no use.
Christianity says, respect the country you live, respect the law of the country, respect the people around you.
Christianity says, never hurt others religion or faith.
Christianity says, there is no need to dress to project your faith, instead live as per the faith.
I surprise why these terms are looking so backward to you? Do you want men and women should follow polygamy? Do you want men and women should look at others' children and molest them? Do you want the humanity should follow the rule of Eye of Eye and Teeth for Teeth?

Most religious people are "closed-minded". In thast they have decided on the spiritual path they believe is "correct". Sadly, religions teach this. It is hard to maintain membership if you teach that otherreligions may hold the answers.
No one religion has it "easy". They all require sacrifice and moderation through their belief structure. Those who truly follow the religion do have to make hard choices every day.
People who get angry about your question are failing to see the opportunity to help you, and thus maek your point seem more valid.
I am not Christian, but I feel that the teachings, if followed, are a good basis for how to treat others.

i'm no longer gay...yet once you're seeking to hearken to something non-condemning in this area of YA from maximum Christians...properly...stable luck. you will in all probability hear "it relatively is alright to be gay as long as you do no longer act on it..." and you will additionally hear that it relatively is a sinful life you would be wanting to repent of and seek for God's help to alter. My suggestion: examine the Bible. it is the best source for any Christ-based faith. I basically desire and pray which you have peace as a results of fact it appears like your contemporary difficulty (a kin that may not approve and a faith that considers homosexuality a sin) would be a tad bit annoying...to declare the least. yet purely keep in mind what the two acceptable commandments are: a million. Love the Lord your God above something 2. Love your neighbor as you love your self After that...properly...God is there for you each and every step of your way...

My dear, dear Sasha. When you openly and blatantly lambast someone elses religion you show that the true closed mindedness is really yours.
I agree that the Jewish religion has loads of fantastic information. But if one opens ones mind to all religions one will learn that each and every one has it's own very good basis of beliefs. I believe mine to be true as certainly do you believe in yours. However to discriminate as you have done based solely on some holidays celebrated by others is as narrow and closed minded as one could possibly get.
Don't you realize that both Thanksgiving and Christmas to millions is a celebration to the Almighty for all his gifts to us.
So please open your eyes and mind and learn a little before you write such discriminating comments publically.
Signed,
An Open Minded Christian

Closed minded. Christmas is celebration of Jesus birth, Easter is when he rose again. Pagan?? If you celebrate these days for anything else, then Pagan. If you want knowledge read the Bible.

Why do we have to resort to attacking? Anything that is not like what people believe they respond in attacks. Some christians like some jews and Muslims are not knowledgeable about other beliefs. We do we need to attack someone else because they do not know?

Your question is close minded. Stop beliving what you see on the interweb. Go to frikken jerusilam and ask a christian that same question. Yes there are still Christians in the middle east. Thats where it started.

Your utter ignorance of Christianity is duly noted. I know you base it all on commercial propaganda so there you go.
I have heard some messianic jews, they differ little from me. Now what?

You are presumptious. I've sat under the teaching of a messianic jew, so I really do not understand your question...
