This is most likely because the inside of the human body is warm and because a fart is air escaping out of the body, it would be warmed by the temperature inside of it. Of course when you fart, the air is released into that particular article of your clothing, which would answer the question of why your underpants are warmed after a fart.

the fart was inside ur body! ur body temperature is 37c equivelant to 98 F, so the fart is of the same temp. it'll definitely warm up ur pants..

That gas that just came out of you is at nearly 100 degrees. You want it to be, what, colder... like 50 degrees. If so, you'd be DEAD and would not have gas!

usually because when you fart..you actually shart (poop and fart at same time) and your pants get warm!!
