she's more outgoing and outspoken than I am. Now I'm not saying I'm ugly but don't guys love the girls that are more outspoken? What should I do?

you should just talk to your friend and tell her how you feel and see how she feels about it. and if a guy doesnt like you for who you are then you shouldnt even give a crap about him

Don't put yourself in competition over any guy. Just let the guy know how you feel about him and let it go. If he really likes you, he will go to you and not her. If he chooses to go to her, then you know how he feels and you move on. There are many more out there. Don't feel like because she is outspoken that he will like her instead of you. Every individual has different likes and dislikes. Some people actually like the quiet ones because they think that what they would have would be more between the two of them. When a person is outspoken, they have the tendency to tell all their business to their friends and expose everything about that guy. Sometimes they would feel more secure with a person who is more quiet and to themselves. Good luck.

If she's your friend you should definitely tell her what's up. Maybe she doesn't like him as much as you do. All is fair in Love Sweetie so the best thing to do is let her know that like him too.
I think different guys like different kinds of girls. Some guys like girls who are shy and quiet as opposed to outspoken and outgoing. It just depends on the guy. If he likes you, he'll like you for just who you are!
But be sure and discuss this situation with your friend so you both don't go for this guy and end up fighting over something stupid!

guys don't always like the girl thats more outspoken don't ever believe that. just go for it don't really compete with her to much but you shouldn't give up. if she gets him then you are her friend and should support her. and if she is your true friend then she should do the same. don't worry over time everything will work out in the end.

In my experience, some guys are actually put off by girls that are more outspoken. Some guys like their girls a little more pensive, a little mysterious. The question is, which kind of guy is the guy you like? The only way to find out is to ask him........

Some guys like those girls that are not outspoken (outspoken = LOUD, usually!) Just be yourself. If he notices, great, if he doesn't, he's not the one for you. :)

Well the question is who went after him first? I think that whoever went after him first should continue to go after him and the other person should just find someone else to pursue. You two are friends and you obviously dont wanna hurt each other. Now if the purson who liked this dude first hasnt been making any approaches then the old saying applies to this, "you snooze, you loose."

That's no treu. We guys like either outgoing and shy girls. Depends of place and time. If I am more of a weekend person, then I will want an outgoing girl. If I am more of a indoors/daytime person, definetly a shy one

you still dont know the feeling of the guy...maybe yes you are right that most of the guys love the girls that are more outspoken but why dont you try to know that guy more..who knows that he likes gal like you...fight for your feeling girl...dont let yourself to feel lot of regrets...you'll never know until talk to him

Don't compete with her, some guys aren't looking for the flashy girls. (They think they upstage them) Don't worry about it, your day will come. And probably this guy will not be worth the risk of lossing a friend over.
