I mean, he allegedly knows what's best for us all, and he allegedly knows I'm wrong. So, why does he let me go to hell, by not converting me by force? Or is he evil and he wants to harm me?

Do you want some to LOVE because you put a gun to their Head? You would like that person to LOVE you for who you are. GOD is the same way.

God does not force things on us. He wants us to do the right things, but He has given us free will. He doesnt send ppl to hell. He gives them a choice, to follow in His ways, or to follow the ways of the world. How could anyone refuse what God is offering to us? He's offering to spend eternal life in Him. He's offering a place in the glorious heavens. The answer would seem clear, but many are caught up int he world right now that its blinding them from seeing the reality of this life.

Yes, Christians claim the reason for this is "free will", and that God wants us to freely love him, not be forced to love him. However, God sure doesn't sound very "godly" in fact it sounds like he has human emotions.

It's that free will thing. It's God's sense of humor tool. Gave us free will and is enjoying watching us muck it up for ourselves and then try finding out way out on our own as well. In a way...we are like mice in a maze figuring things out on our own. That's the way he wants it. Forces us to explore and learn which is something else I'm sure he wants.

well i asked tis qestion the other day and the answers i got and you will get are 'free will' but we will go to hell if we don't beleve right?
so it isn't really free will at all its a force. god doesn't offer any proof of his ecsistence so we are supposed to belive and not see and if we don't we are doomed to eternal damnation.
makes a ton of sense
there is no god

Because you have free will, and right now there is evil in the world.

So you can chose to do good or evil and he will not interfere with your choice!

He wants those who will on there own to chose him.

You know of him, about him, you can choose for or against him, and he will let you go to hell if you chose to!

God wants us to enjoy life and that's why he created us with free will. He wants the best for us and wants us to serve him coz then we'll be really happy. But at the same time he wants us to CHOOSE to serve him willingly. It would be cruel if he forced as to worship him remember that God is love.

Why'd you ask the question when you knew "free will" was going to be the answer?

Anyway, I'm agnostic, but I don't think the Christian bible supports the idea of a place of eternal damnation anyway. It just ain't in there.

It is obvious that you are a non-believer. God wants "you" to make your own decision. Either you believe in him, trust him and have faith. Or you don't. He's not going to force you to do anything, the choice is yours. The only one harming you is "you" and your choice not to believe is leaving you vulnerable to evil.

Well He definately isn't evil. He doesn't force us because there will be no love in that. For His glory He wanted us to accept Him on our own will thats how much He loved us. That is why we have free will.

Who says you are going to hell? God does not condemn anyone to hell. People damn themselves.
Perhaps you have never understood God or the Faith. Then you are just ignorant of Him.
Some people may be saved because of invincible ignorance on their part.
