If you're not very active, then you don't have to eat much. But just try to get more than that amount because you might get sick.

I wouldn't go down to 750 but you're right though, the less you do the less calories you need. You also need to factor in your age, gender, weight and height as well. It also depends on if you want to maintain your weight or loose weight. Here is a link that will help you get an idea of how many you need a day. And no empty calories (like soda and cakes) eat healthy things because you are eating less calories.

As long as the foods are already low in calories and high in vitamins so you get the food you need to digest withought the calories.
If your excersizing-- then no.
Eat more.
And make sure you take vitamins aswell.
You can always get those vitamin C cough drops to add to your vitamin intake. You will find that bad things happen to you witough protein- yellow nails, hair falling out early if your a guy or just plain falling out if your a girl-
weak muscles, you may faint.

My reccomendation is to eat more food during the day and excersize it off while you are awake. You can keep your metabolism running strong all day if you make a point to stretch or flex your muscles, walk, somethign getting somewhat active every 18-20 mins.
You will see a difference in the way you look. - or if your'e already strong you will not loose mucscle.
