Why do Atheists talk about the existence of God so much? It is categorically illogical. The question, in your mind at least, is resolved. There is no God. I never here them talk about how great it is that there is no God, how there being no God makes it a guilt free life, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
If you ask me, they haven’t resolved the question, so they have to fuel themselves on arrogance and their supposed mental agility.

The arrogance goes both ways. The religious also have a superiority complex.
The religious are always trying to "save" atheists, and atheists are always trying to "open the eyes" of the religious. The problem is that both sides are pretty much set in their beliefs, so it goes nowhere.

To educate theists to the fact that there is no evidence to support belief in things that do not exist.
When god(s) are completely removed from all aspects of my U.S. government, then I'll shut up.
I know, I know, this country was founded by mostly christians.
Our christian forefathers understood the importance of the ideal of keeping church and state seperate. This is why it's in the bill of rights.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
They were forced here because of religious persecution that they faced at home in the first place. Their ideal of keeping church and state seperate is why this is in the first amendment. Modern day christians have lost sight of that fact and have used a loophole that says they can endorse a generic god, which according to them was not endorsing religion.
Bull$hit, it's the same thing. Government should remain completely neutral on matters of theism and atheism.
Now I have the "generic god", which is the christian god in disguise, on my atheist cash, in my atheist pledge, and invading some government property and monuments. Then, of course, there is evangelical christian George Bush's faith based initiative which funnels my atheist taxes into church programs. Since atheism is not recognized as a religion by the U.S. government it does not qualify for this program, nor would I want it to be.
After all we are not faith based, we are fact based.
Have a nice day!

I am not arrogant, and I am of above average intelligence. I talk about the existence of god because my atheism is one of the most important parts of who I am. Because I have reached the truth, I feel as though it is my duty to lead others to the truth as well. My opinions are not resolved, and anyways, aren't the beliefs of a theist just as "resolved" as mine. Why are they here when they don't want me to hear different viewpoints? My life is not guilt free, as guilt is as human an emotion as anger.

Our mental agility is what prevents you from catching up to our trains of thought. I think it's great that there is no magical sky pixie waiting to spank me in the non-existant afterlife. We answer your questions and ask ours in order to amuse ourselves at your expense sometimes, sorry. And also, to help educate you into seeing things from our perspective to further your understanding of the world outside your churches. So that someday you will stop encourageing "holy wars" and peacefully not worry about who's imaginary friend is the strongest.

i want to know when a stigma of mental agility was pinned on athiests. like, christians can't be mentally agile? or do they think we're all just mental? (it's not resolved. we're all created with this hole, right in the middle of us, that can only be filled by God. now, athiests, go debate whether i mean literally or figuratively)

We talk about your belief in the existence of God, we don't share it and we want you to understand why we don't share it then hopefully you can stop being so vindictive merely because you don't understand our point of view...okay!
