wash your hair in baking soda.......if it doesn't bring the green out then just dye it again.....Don't use any kind of ASH color....that's what it does.....i have learned my lesson on using ash...it has turned my hair GREEN, PURPLE, AND PINK.

Good Luck.

Ash from the color is the problem....Ash will put a greenish tint to the hair especially when going over bleached hair. If you don't want to go to a hairstylist to have your highlights redone. you can try a Sally's if you have one by you and find a try a level 8 haircolor that has a red base to it. Try a Level 8N will still be blonde but red should tone the green out. Hopefully that will help. When coloring your hair never use an ash unless you want a greenish tint or you are trying to get rid of red color.

I would just get your hair professionally done so you don't do a lot of trial and error dyeing to your hair and ruin it. They will be able to get the green tint out while keeping your hair a lighter color. You may also have to dye your hair in steps.

This sounds similiar to the green tint one gets when swimming in a pool. It's caused by chlorine, but sometimes it can be caused by the water in you're shower or your shampoo, if it has a wrong ph balance.
I'm a blond, and I put ketchup on.(It sounds silly, but it works)
Put it in like conditioner, and leave it for a few hours. (maybe at night before you go to bed)
Then rinse it out, and shampoo and condition the next day as per normal.

I wish they would take do it yourself hair color off the market. Anything with ash will go green unless you strip the hair first using bleach. Go to a professional, admit what you've done and put on so far and they will do their best to fix it. If you do anymore yourself with that over the counter garbage you'll just burn up your hair and scalp and brittle broken and damaged hair on the way to baldness is next.

ash color gives a gray hint to your hair. I was told never use ash color. sometimes if you swim alot the cholorine will make your hair have a green tint. Go to a beauty supply store maybe they can help you.

Do you have very hard water or soft well water?

More than likely, the tint was caused by minerals in the water. Try something like Nexxus
Aloe Rid for it - it removes chlorine residue from swimming and other mineral traces.

Ash is green based. I would have a professional look at it.
