take him to the vet NOW. Don't call for an appointment just show up as an emergancy they will see you if they are a good vet. An avain vet is the best to see.
Why do people think budiges are delicate? They live in arab type lands in the middle of australia and need to surive in hot climic with little water. What they are good at is hiding the fact they are sick.
Please see a vet we can't tell you what is wrong it could be many different things, but now that you know something IS wrong you need to do all you can to help your bird.

You need to watch more monty python the one about the parrot. that says it all.
Actually it means that he may have an upper respitory problem.. He may die from it parakeets are very delicate. We had one die one year because the area where the cage was was warmer that the rest of the houses and we didn't realize it. The poor thing could not breath.

I don't know, but I would be worried. We had a cockatiel named Petey. He seemed perfectly fine. One day he made a funny little squeaking sound and fell dead on the bottom of his cage. Don't know what killed him. He was a sweet bird who loved singing the andy griffith theme song.

Get him to the vet. When a bird becomes ill, he can go downhill very quickly.
