Make sure you park your car in the sun, and it should take about 5 hours or so. It's the sunlight and greenhouse effect that heat up the car, not the air outside. So it also has to be a very sunny day, not a muggy overcast day with 100% humiditiy. Don't worry, I think it's impossible to burn them.

For you folks that are laughing, you've obviously never seen a VHS tape or cassette melted in car before.

I just heard about this on the radio. Some lady did it. I was about 90-100 degrees outside so she put a tray of cookies in her car when she went to work and by afternoon they were done. I don't think there is a specific time it all depends on the temperature outside and if your car gets hotter then others but I know it will take a few hours. Good Luck.

Is the motor running? I would follow the recommended time for baking the cookie and add 5 minutes. Your car won't get hot enough to burn...unless your driving all day!

On the news the other day, they said that woman cooked them for 5 hours. Seems like a waste of time, doesn't it?
