Just wondering if they are legit or if they will steal my personal info or sell it.

That website is a for-profit business which you have to pay in order to get your "free" credit report. Go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com and get an actually free credit report from each bureau once a year. You won't get your credit score--you have to pay for that--but you can check the reports for any inaccuracies. Good luck!

highly recommend it. you are actually entitled to a free credit report from each credit bureau. a tip is to set a reminder up to go to freecreditreport.com and pull one agency every 4 months.

I've used them before. they are legit. I didn't have any problems with them. However, its not totally free. They enroll you in some sort of thirty day Advantage program, but you can cancel it right away by calling their 1-800 number.

It's a scam you can't get your credit report or credit score from them without enrolling in some sort of expensive insurance policy. www.annualcreditreport.com will give you a credit report for free no strings attached.

I would not go that route. You can order one free report per year from all the major reporting institutions (Equifax, etc.) and that is the only way to go.
