I've switched to bt internet service and have the bt/yahoo toolbar. The norton spyware button doesn't work as I am signed in with my yahoo id I've had for a couple of years and not the bt/yahoo id. Can I uninstall the bt/yahoo toolbar and install the yahoo toolbar.

there is only one difference in these toolbars ,the bt one has norton antispy and the standard yahoo toolbar runs its own anti-spy
where it has a pencil on the bt yahoo toolbar click there then go to help and you will see uninstall,click this and then after you have done this you will need to restart your browser to complete the uninstallation
toolbars are not really nessecary if you have service pack 2 and adequate security but if you need to use one yahoo is the best and you should be able to install it after you remove the bt toolbar

you can uninstall any tool bar and as for spyware nortons cant even cook a a cake try this anti spyware

download xoftspy422 and install it then run it stop the scan and click on scan settings tick every box and click on where it says >> click here to select a folder then tick the (c) thats your hard drive if you have 2 hard drives tick the 2 of them then click ok
