Religion,race,political confusion?

Question

Many people don't understand the difference between religion(soul-betterment),race(breed),and politics(government management),not to mention a free will that isn't always dominated by the three other necessary monkies. Why is it so difficult for people to see the subjects as they are?Personally I just breath-I don't practice sh*t(anything) for a religion, though I've heard every philosophy-I guess I'm like an ancient Greek-they just studied scientific reasoning and practiced wrestling.Racially,you breed is your history and your future,but all your people have to agree.And Dumb Whites keep saying their race"is Christian",which isn't a race,but a religion like Kung-Fu.What race are Muslims?-Arab.What race are Hindus?-Indian.What race are Taoists?-Oriental.Politically,freedom is good ,but I like some of the stability that comes moderate dictatorship,at least someone takes responsibility for something!Your forced to attend school when little-but it's for your own good! Your views of race and religion are disturbing. Why are white people Christians? I'm white I'm not a christian but my local catholic church has a high Chinese population. Muslims are not all Arabs and neither are all Hindus Indian. Also what about all the Sikhs and other religions that are present in India?

Considering you have read lots of philosophy you would think that you would have some ideas of your own.

Most of all what is your point?!?! We all know that there are people in the world that have difficulty filling out forms.

Where is the confusion, and where is the politics? Saying that a dictatorship is a good idea, is obviously not a fully thought through idea now is it? How do you know that it would feel stable, and what makes you think that, that the dictator would take responsibility? For example if all of the water pipes in your country were to so old that they broke and no one had running water anymore. Do you really think that the dictator would take responsibility? Or do you think they would say that they had employed a company to sort it out and they hadn't. People in power don't take responsibility, they pay someone else to take it for them.

Jewish people are a race and religion. Their distinct characteristic is their nose! Sorry if this is offensive to anyone, but its not meant to be its just the way it is. However that is not to say that all jewish people have big noses or that all people that have big noses are jewish. Its a particular look. They are still carcasian though.

oh man you dont have to be in a certain race to become part of a religion dont you think its sad that you lable people so much maybe your are just confused bout your own view in life, im no thiest but im at least tolerent of people, what exactly is your question anyway, you just using yahoo answeres to ***** about things that your not happy with because you cant control? why would you want to be in a dictator ship, having rules makes people break them a dictatorship has to be all out (make people so afraid they wont stand up) or none at all. besides some religions force you to take a certain stand in political debates so for those people politics and religion are one and the same! get a life and stop fussing over people's misunderstanding of things and focus on your own life!

Actually, we are all one race, the human race. Mankind. Religious beliefs have confused our race totally. People claiming to be God's chosen people and all that. Misinterpretations of the scriptures has been going on since before Jesus' time, and still continues today. The political structures in power now, were in power then too. Reading Revelations, we all know that the antichrist will come from all of this confusion too. That's why I believe that Religion, and not faith, will be our races downfall.

People do tend to gain a smattering and think they understand the whole. On that note, go back and study the Classical Greeks on religion again. You ate a piece of the crust and thought you'd tasted the pie. Start with Aristotle's Metaphysics.

You seem a little confused yourself. Kung Fu a religion? Are you saying that all Muslims are Arabs? And does 'Arab' actually denote a race? Many Iraqis for example of indo-european lineage, no Semitic, yet are often labelled Arabs.
I think I agree with the general point, if I am interpreting it correctly, but your actual statement is somewhat clumsy, with poor examples, and you seem to be setting up a 'straw man' fallacy by establishing your own definitions.

You're getting a lot of flak but there is a quite serious problem there. I was shocked to discover that Jews are legally recognised under the British race laws as a race. Distinct from what other race, I don't understand since I thought it was perfectly possible to be black and a Jew or white and a Jew or anything else and a Jew.

Legally, you're wrong but, obviously, you're right. Daft, isn't it.
