For Internet Explorer, use the mouse button to hover over the menu bar. Go to Tools > Internet Options > General Tab (should be selected automatically) > Clear History button. You can also clear out your cache (every time you vistit a website, both a cookie and items related to a website will be stored on your hard drive to make surfing to that web page load faster) by clicking on the buttons of Delete Cookies and Delete Files.

Go to Tools, Internet Options. Then in Temporary Internet Files, Click on Delete Cookies, Click on Delete Files, then in History, Click on Clear History (Also, you may want to set pages to keep in History to 0). Then click OK and all should be gone.

Click Tools, Internet Options, and then, on the General Tab, click "Clear History." To really remove all of your history, cookies, etc, you should try either the new IE7 Beta, which cleans up much better, or buy a product for $20 like Window Washer that will clear your history, cookies, etc and over right the data such that no one can read it again.
