I recently scratched my sunglasses. Total bummer. If I continue to wear them, will it damage my vision?

Yes. One real danger with sunglasses and that people are not aware of, is that many sunglasses have small dioptric values(are concave, or are convex) in the lens, just like the glasses used to correct Hyperopiathat or Myopia. Usually the cheap ones!. This is very dangerous for the eyes!!! Some clinics have equipment that can tell you if the glasses are ok or not.

Scratches on the lenses cause vision distortion which, in turn, makes your eyes strain and work harder. You should always wear glasses that reduce glare and squinting to avoid eye strain.

Your rectum is on your rear... you did not scratch your rectum. However your cornea was probably scratched (the retina is inside the eye). You need to see an optometrist or ophthalmologist for an antibiotic eye drop or ointment to help prevent infection. The cornea may scar depending on how deep the scratch is. See your eye doctor ASAP for best results!
