About two months ago I went out and bought a 32" LCD tv. To me the bigger screen is awsem. I figure it this way, normal tv is not that amazing on it however when i have my xbox 360 on its HD (high definition) setting or I am watching a DVD the picture is awsem. I would definatly go for the bigger tv if you have the spare cash. It is something you will use everyday for at least 5 yrs. so i concider it a good investment.

stay away from plasmas and LCD, short life span and very expensive to repair. I would go with a micro display rear projection like a DLP set. there are still some CRT rear projections that look fantastic too.

If you have the dough, spend large. Go for broke! Personally, I'm not a TV buff so it's not important enough for me to spend much money on a monster TV.

Get a high quality DLP high def Projector and a scree.. It's the future of TV and you get the benefits of being able to maintain the projector and get the big screen size/picture quality.
