Well, I'm not a guy, but I'm his age. I love swimming, biking, too, also, maybe he would be interested in volunteering at a local business. Habitat for humanity is a great place, which builds houses for people in your community in need. He's old enough to volunteer by himself, so that might interest him, plus if he's planning on going to college, it will look great on his resume and it's just an awesome thing to do. Also, I'm sure there's a club at his school he'd be interested in...there's clubs for almost everything at my school. Good luck and hope this helps! =)

There are tons of things for him to do - however in order for him to really like what he is doing you should find something he enjoys.

i.e. sports, clubs at school, join the gym, take karate / self defense, volunteer work, etc.
I have a son and I try to keep him as active as possible. I hate lazy kids......makes for a lazy adult.

Good luck

Chess, Kumon, Sylvan (if you can afford it) after schools clubs and sports.

I suggest kumon... It is cheaper than Sylvan and it keeps them occupied for at least 1 hour every night and the commitment to you is only two days per week. It brings up grades like gangbusters and keeps them ahead a grade at least in school.

sports leagues, scouts, a small job(paper route, babysitting, etc) clubs, YMCA membership, chores for $(if that is an option, bigger than normal stuff-painting, clean out the garage, etc) call the library-they have programs running all the time. Good luck

Bowling-try a youth league. My son in 15 and excels. There are some good certified coaches around and the tournaments are excellent. He has banked over $10,000 in scholarship money in 3 years!

How about sports? It could be an organized sport after school like track or tennis or football, and a lot of guys that age like individual sports like skateboarding or surfing. Other than that, how about a musical instrument like guitar?

Sports are great- My 10 year old has been a victim of video game brain washing- I enrolled him into baseball and he cried about it. It ended up being the best thing I ever did. He ended up loving it and he is not that bad at it. It made him feel proud of himself and that is wonderful.

A bicycle, a baseball bat, a basketball, some tools? Give him a hobby or sign him up for some sports. If that doesnt work, i guarantee a blow up sheep with a vibrator will!
