Go to the chemist and get a sachet of toner they are only about £1-50 look for the hair dyes and they should have small sachets of toners and shaders nearby make sure you get the toner. My mum used to use them and they worked O.K for her. Good Luck...

Hey dont put a flat brown on it will go khaki, and dont put a red on first either because if its too bright the brown wont cover it. However if you do buy a colour go for a chestnut brown or a mahogony brown because then it has the warmth in it. You could maybe get away with a golden brown but without me seeing i cant say whether you could. Safest option is to go for the warm chestnutty colour. Also bleach makes the hair poros which means that a semi would be best to use because it soaks in better and is more conditioning for your mum

Hi, yas you can put a brown dye on it as i have done this many times, I would get a medium brown hair dye bacause as your hair mums hair is light it will go on lighter anyway,if you were to put a light brown on it would not cover and could go green. Try a semi pemipermenat like colour spa in light brown this covers well and it will was out and wont damage your mums hair as much as a permenant one.

Only certain dyes are safe to use so soon, a hairdresser will be able to recommend a good one. I got blond highlights once and hated them and my hairdresser recommended Nice & Easy hair dye, which worked well.
And for god sake, next time take her to a professional hairdresser!

It shouldn't send it green if you buy a good quality colour but do a strand test before you do her whole head and give her hair another good wash before you put the colour on, to make sure the bleach has all gone.

I once bleached my hair with peroxide and then put a brown dye on top.....it went khaki.

Don't do anything yourself. Go to a hairdresser and they will do a test with some dye.

Tell her to go to the hairdressers and have a few low lights put through the crown.

I had this problem, dyed my own hair (disaster) had lowlights put through and it really toned down the blonde.

Why don't you pull hair thru a highlight cap and color dark brown than it will be less blonde. It will come out looking good. And don't get a brown with a Ash base and it won't come out green.

this is exactly why hairdressers were invented! go to one and get it fixed, or else she'll just end up with another botch job......take it from a former hairdresser, i've fixed plenty of people who thought they could do it themselves to save money, and ended up paying hundreds to fix what they had done.
