Before you add more speakers, adjust the speaker output from the rear speakers.
You can usually access this in the receivers main menu.
Good luck!

You really need a good amp. setup like Denon for Surround Sound. I have it professionally installed. One woofer, 3 front speakers, 3 back speakers. However, if the source you are viewing is not 5.1 and setup for surround sound, it doesn't sound much better than a VCR.!! I like a good DVD or HD program with surround sound.

I am confused? You want to add MORE front and center speakers? Does this mean you already have fronts and center and want to add more? Or you have one sub and 2 rears and want to add the fronts and center?

it might be your surrond mode. if your watching tv in dobly digital, then the backs are going to sound distant.
if you want speakers i would recomend Klipsch refernce series. all the referance series have a "r" as the first letter in the model number. the next letter stands for what the speaker is. for example, the "rf-35" is a Referance series Floor speaker. a "rb-35" is a Referance Bookshelf speaker
hope this helps.

ok, at first....10w???? feels like you opt for an entire new equipment. locate out what wattage your audio equipment are able to and get a receiver that may push out as a lot as that quantity. more beneficial ability = more beneficial effectual sound, era. 2d, there are receivers out which will do 6.one million or 7.one million descrete channels, yet considering ninety 8% of DVDs and mutually with HDTV is 5.one million, there is not a want for that type of equipment now. outstanding, yet ineffective. like another guy stated, you purely spread the sound between one or 2 more beneficial channels and it loses intensity. in spite of the reality that, as i discussed interior the start, commence with a sparkling equipment the position you could get about 100w/channel and also you'll be a lot happier.

how many speakers do you have and how many channels does your audio card support in the first place? you can't set up more speakers than your audio card support. If you have less speakers than the channels that your audio card support, there may have converter/ adapter, for e.g., converter for 6.1/5.1 to 7.1 speakers.
