Wish you would tell us more about yourself...age, etc. The best way to start to feel good about yourself is to help those people that are less fortunate than yourself. Have you thought about being a helper at the school? Visiting and volunteer at the hospital one afternoon a week? It is amazing how good you feel when you get involved with people who need you.

I suggest you fake it til you make it. Honestly, sometimes you have to behave yourself better. The suggestions posted are good ones. If they don't work, then maybe you should go to see a therapist to process and explore your depression. If that doesn't work, consider an antidepressant.
