I have a self-consious problem, I guess...
I like chubby girls. I don't really know why, I suppose I just have a subconsious attraction to them or something...
But I know that this isn't normal for someone to like, and I feel terrible for liking them because I think that people will hate me and think I am a freak, especially my father.
What do i do?

it's your choice and not the other people.

whats wrong with liking chubby girls? Are you worried only because other people will judge you? If that's the case, then you need to get out of bed in the morning, and tell yourself that you are not going to let other people tell you how to live your life, who you get to like or love, what are you going to do next, let some stranger off the street tell you what you should do for a living? What about your clothes, do your friends come in to your room in the morning and tell you what to wear?
You can't let everything that makes you an individual be thrown to the wayside, that's silly and completely cutting you off from all the things that could make you unique. I am not sure how old you are, but i am assuming still in school, your question reminds me of myself in junior high. I was always worried about what everyone else thought of every little thing I did. I slapped myself in the face one day(not literally)and became who I wanted to be. Once I did that, i had more friends and more importantly more respect for my self. That's the important thing, respecting who you are, and loving life for what you make it.

What's wrong with liking chubby girls? They have a heart and can love just as well as skinny girls, can't they? If your father won't accept you being involved with someone because of looks, he is very shallow!! How sad!! You need to get over your insecurities about dating or not dating someone because of looks...you'll never find true love if it is going to have stipulations. Besides...most of the 'skinny' girls I've seen, end up bigger than the chubby girls in the end!!! :) Lord Bless...

It is so sad that people are afraid to love anyone in this world, based on what society has labeled as the standard of acceptance...If you want to go with someone chubby, so be it..who cares? You are the one who is going to spend your life with them, not your dad...Actually, I have MORE respect for a person who dates who they want, in spite of what others think...You can't go through life worrying about what others will think on this one...Good luck, and hope you find a really sweet 'chubby' gal to make you happy

My very first 'Love' was a "chubby" girl..her name was Ann. And I was eight years old. Later on I gradually became enamored of all types of 'Girls' and winded up marrying a slim girl...but I can still picture "My Ann", chubby as a small hippo and still get that warm "fuzzy feeling" all over. I'm sure some day you will too.

There is nothing wrong or abnormal about liking chubby girls. It is just what you like. You should not care about what other people think. You should look at the person as a person not a size.

Have you ever been to an art museum?
Look at the painting of women. Everyone of them has meat on their bones and that was considered beautiful. It is only in the pass 100 years that the starved, malnourished, skinny, scrawny women have been the "beautiful" ones.
Have ever considered that you are one of the "normal" people that you see beauty in real women?

You shouldn't be with anyone solely on how they look. Find someone you truly treasure whether anerexic or corn-fed as long as you both are happy-most normal parents my criticize at first-but ultimately they just want their kids to be healthy and happy. Just make sure you're not using them just for their bodies either-like the stereotypical womanizer would do with slender women.

why isn't it normal? there are plenty of men who like chubby women and vice versa
