Whats that tape thing that you can connect to a portable cd player and use to hear music from a cd through your cassette player in the car? Its a tape with a wire that you connect to your cd player and can stick into a cassette player.....
do they still make them?

Cassette to CD car audio adapter or Car Kit Adapter.. You can find one in electronics shop selling car stereo..see the link.. Good luck!!

Yes they do still make them, you can find them at Walmart, its a carkit adapter. I had one for years, then I finally broke down and bought a CD player. :D I never had any problems with it, and the sound is just fine. You stick the tape in the tapedeck and plug it into your portable CD player. And make sure you carry batteries for the CD player with you, trust me, it will get frustrating when the batteries die.

In my country, they call that a CD converter, and they are usually available at any electronics shop, most likely your music store. Take not though, the output wont be as good as the CD, but it isnt noticable.
