Toyotas last forever! I still drive a 1984 Toyota pickup with 220,000 miles on it! Change your oil every 3,000-5,000 miles, don't drive like a maniac, get the timing belt replaced every 60,000 miles (about $200), and you'll be fine. Good luck!

With the right maintenance and tlc it will last forever. If it doesn't last forever, then it didn't received the right maintenance and tlc. The problem most folks have with a car is when repairs "cost more than the car is worth" well that's a bunch of huey because the repairs always cost less than a replacement car in excellent shape - unless it's in a bad accident.

If this car has had regular maintenace throughout its life you might expect to get another 100,000 miles. However it will not be trouble-free. You can expect to spend $500 to $1000, maybe more over the next few years in unexpected repairs.

I would expect that car to last to at least 200K.
I bought a Mazda GLC (Great Little Car) from my sisiter in-law, with 130K on it. I drove it to the junk yard with 230K !
Best of luck at college and with the car.
