I threw one for a frind and we had a bride to be scavenger hunt. She had a great time as did every one involved. We bar hopped at pre planned locations, and from each location there were things the bride had to accomplish. example:
Ask the ugliest man in the place to dance
Buy the best looking guy in the place a drink and serve it to him
Ask the bar tender for his phone number-written on a pair of extra panties u just happen to have
sing karoke-pick a really stupid song
wear a really funky outfit into a really classy bar

Just stupid silly things, but it really turned into a fun night for everyone.

Find out what the bride likes to do and share in the fun or find out what the bride has never done, but would like to do and do that.

I'm an outdoorsy person and I would love to do one of the following for my bachelorette party...

an overnight camping trip - hanging out with the girls around the campfire and talking about old times, going on a hike or taking the paddle boats out for a spin

just recently found a tree climbing adventure outfit nearby - I've always been a tomboy and used to climb trees all the time. It would be great to relive my childhood before I officially become a responsible wife

I've also always wanted to go rock climbing. I've done the indoor wall climbing thing, but it would be so cool to do the real thing outside

My cousin loves musicals so we rented a limo for the night, took her out to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe and then went to a really fancy theatre before crashing at a Hotel. It was kind of expensive, but she's the type that's only going to get married once, so we didn't mind spend the extra to have a fun night out with her.

If the bride is into crafts - take a craft class with her - make some pottery or weave a basket.

If she's into sports - rent a gym and play for awhile.

It's in Florida - go snorkeling, scuba diving, para-sailing, have a clam bake, just go hang out by the beach (don't forget the sunscreen)

Maybe she likes poetry and reading - hang out at a coffee house.

Bring out the kid in her - throw a slumber party, complete with PJs, scary movies, Dream Phone Game or MASH Game, pizza, popcorn and freezing someone's bra. Sleep in the next morning and watch cartoons while eating a cereal that came with a toy in the box.

A bit on the girly side - find a nice tea room and then go to a spa for the day - let her get pampered from head to toe (watch out for trying new facials and stuff though - I've heard horror stories about facials gone bad because of unknown allergic skin reactions).

Whatever it is that the Bride is into - make the party about her. Not about what you or anyone else involved wants. The typical party with drinking and a stripper is not for everyone - definetly not me. I want to have a night with the girls that I'll remember and be able to tell my fiance or even my parents about. I crave adventure and the outdoors.

What would the bride enjoy doing?

My sister did bowling and then appetizers and desserts at a local restaurant for her best friend's wedding. It was a nice alternative because we had all ages there and the bride is allergic to all forms of alcohol so it was a nice, clean Bachelorette Party for her. Oh, and my sister made her this silly looking shirt and hat that the bride had to wear all around town that evening as well.

i'm getting married in two weeks and we are doing a haunted tavern tour...we can go from different tavern to tavern and hear about the different hauntings or sightings that have taken place there and get to have some drinks if we want at each bar, then we are going out to dinner. or you could always do light dinner (appetizers) and dancing. or sometimes acting like a "kid" again is fun. I threw a party for my friend, and we did the "kid" stuff. went mini golfing, hit a bumper car place and go cart racing, I know many will think it was foolish, but we had so much fun. also if you are near a boardwalk. or you can throw a mini party and just have finger foods and light drinks and just play games.

My girls arranged for us to have a private belly dancing lesson. This was great b/c even though it was embarrasing to shake your hips like that, I did it infront of the 5 girls I love more than anything. So if I can't make a fool out of myself in front of them, who can I?
