I am a 19 years old guy and she is 17.
What should I do??

i would of kicked the guys a** and told your sister that she needs to wait, that kind of behavior results in unwanted pregnancies

Hey, I completely understand where you're coming from- I have a younger brother and i'd flip if I walked in on him having sex with some girl (he's only 17 too) I'd prolly talk to him about it first though, as you should talk to your sister. If anything, just let her know to be careful. Explain that you don't want to see your sister pregnant in highschool. She'd understand, and appreciate your brotherly love for her. As long as you don't yell at her or lecture (that's not your job, that's your parents) I'd say it is your business, cuz you're her family and you care more about her than this guy does, even if this guy is her boyfriend or whatever. Just let her know you're looking out for her. I say, don't listen to your female friends, cuz it's not their sister, it's yours. Obviously you care about her, cuz you asked this question, and you must not completely agree with your female friends or you woulda taken their advice and wouldn't of had to ask on here. Just talk to her. It might be uncomfortable, but if you guys don't already have a good communication relationship, this might start one, and maybe she'll feel that she can trust you since you didn't tell her parents, and talk to her about it instead. she might come to you with other problems without worrying about you telling mom and dad on her. I think it's awesome that you care so much about your sister. A lot of people take the apathetic way and just don't care. I think that's the worst attitude to have and props to you for caring about your sister!! Good luck!!

Maybe you are overreacting because it was your sister, i'm sure that if you saw another 17 year old girl like that you wouldn't flip out, but you should sit down and have a talk that she shouldn't have sex, even condoms aren't 100% protection, unless she is ready to have a baby, tell her what could happen, and maybe give fake reference to a sob story about a friend so that she takes it seriously. Good Luck :)

You're a very caring brother. She's lucky to have you as a sibling. What do you think about this situation? Approve or no? From the question, I'd say you do not approve 100%. Maybe you should talk to her about it. I also have an older brother, and he's two years older than me as well. There are some things that we talk to each other about that we don't talk to with our parents. My brother is pretty protective of me too. So, yeah, go talk to her. Best of luck!

I may be the oldest person to comment here, but I have a 12 year old daughter... and this is what I would want. I would want to be told. I know that your sister will be upset, however, you might have saved her from any STDs that are out there.. and or pregnancy if you would have told. I would tell your parents. It may save her life someday. Sex is for adults.

Tell her that if you see her doing that again, you will make sure she never sees daylight again. You're the older brother so although the female friends say leave her, you must establish some sort of authority because no big brother wants to see their sister become a piece of trash.

Remember this: it all comes full circle in the end. What she's doing now will catch up with her...she's 17 & not your concern, you are not her keeper & if you try to be, it will only create problems with the two of you-so when she ends up with an STD or pregnant, then maybe she'll think about how stupid it was to be doing those things.

tell your parents. Its hard but needs to be done, even at age 17 its considered rape if your in the usa. Because shes to young to give consent to have sex without parental permission. Sounds stupid but its true we almost put away the guy who did it with my sister.

When your sister ends up preg and the guy doesnt pay child support im sure youll wish you spoke up wouldnt u?

No you being the older one you should talk to her about it. Don't go to her in a mean way, just keep it real let her that you caught her no one told you and tell to at least be using protection if she is because I'm pretty sure you are sexually active as well don't don't tell her not to do it but to be careful.

don't shut up. talk to ur sister. make sure she understands what she is doing and what the consequences of her actions might be. don't attach her though. show her that u care and that's why u want to make sure she is fine. be straight with her, after all she is ur sister. if she is toomuch out of line and doing irresponsible and harmful things ( sleeping with different guys all the time, not using protection and so on) I think it's appropriate to involve ur parents in it.
good luck
