Yes, I've kind of gotten to like Barney but those kids are annoying. But then again, they are there to entertain toddlers, not adults.

I echo the answer of another member. Barney is there for the KIDS not the ADULTS. It is very good for the kids and teaches awesome lessons. For that kind of input instead of some of the crap that is in cartoons now-a-days, i will gladly put up with the kids over-acting. I for one LOVE BARNEY!

My two year old doesn't like Barney...Thank Heavens! I don't think I could sit through too many renditions of overacted song and dance routines! I might have to go postal on that purple blob!
But if you really want to see overacting kids that will make you puke, try to find an old vhs copy of The Donut Man from the 90's...You will roll your eyes so much, that they will do a complete rotation in your head!

They are kids! But yes, that is why Barney is oh so annoying! But for some reason, EVERY kid goes thru some point where they can't get enough!

Agreed with previous poster, Barney isn't supposed to entertain adults-he is supposed to entertain children. Children need big emotions, over exaggeraters...it gets them involved and helps with their attention.
