Sounds like there is a program in your startup group that is causing a problem.

From the Run prompt under your start menu, type msconfig, select the startup tab and - one item at a time - uncheck something you can do without, and reboot your comp. If the error reccurs, you've selected the wrong item, so restore it, and uncheck something else. Keep it up till you find out what's going on.

Once you've narrowed it down, uninstall/reinstall the offending program.

GOOD LUCK

Prabably the latest software you have installed. You could do a system restore. Start>All programs>Accesories> System tools> System restore.

Try reinstalling your Peer-2-Peer file sharing program.
