If they didn't, then why wouldn't they return to the original body of Christ?

If God's original church is still intact and still guided by the Holy Spirit, and the gates of hell haven't prevailed against it, and Jesus remains the head of it, than all those other guys must have been decieved by traditions of men, and must really be participating in the Babylon Mystery Religion, which is mentioned in the book of Revelation.

Maybe the Episcopal and Anglican guys are the ones in the fancy purple robes (like the ones King Henry VIII wore) and the fellows like Luther and Calvin and Zwingli are those guilty of the blood of the martyrs that were killed in all the religious wars which they incited..

Maybe the guys who left the true church for a different false church, and who do communion services with crackers and grape juice instead of the authentic body and blood of Jesus Christ, are riding the beast, and holding that cup of abominations.

Could this be what has been foretold for the last days?

I've read that many Protestants respect the Traditions and beliefs of Orthodox Christianity, but they are consumed by their egos to repent and reject nearly 5 Centuries of dogma.

Martin Luther wanted to decentralize the Catholic Church. The Reformation strengthened the Catholic Church and weakened the Orthodox Church further. By 1515, the only Orthodox political power remaining was xenophobic Russia.

Many Protestants, like many Roman Catholics deceived by "many shall come" to "deceive" and shall deceive many, don't seem to know "Christ" of "Jesus->Christ" is "the end of the law" (Rom 10), "our peace who hath abolished the law": the enmity (Eph 2), "the author of eternal salvation" via grace void of law (Heb 5), Saviour of the world (Jn 4 & 1Jn 4); Not of some only, whom Paul aptly calls the some-what(?), I know not what.

Orthodox Christ-ianity is as "law law" and as "division"-all as modern Christ-ianity having a latter end "worse" rather than better, whether it's Protestant or Roman Catholic, both of which notably maligned and traduced Translators of the Bible, "learned men all", who's only purpose was to make God's holy truth ("grace is sufficient": no law req'd) the more known to people.

No matter, the end of the shew, and revelatory shewdown thereof, is already written (you all are saved only by grace only):

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

They do not.
The body of Christ is where believers gather together to seek HIM.
There is no original body unless you consider the Jewish believers in Jerusalem the original Church.

Because we believe what you call Orthodox is in fact Heterodox. Salvation is by Christ alone, received by faith alone!
