When Philip The Fair had several hundreds of the Templars (Christian Knights) rounded up and tortured (in order to sieze their lands) ... These knights were repeatedly tortured into confessing an odd blasphemous obscenity .. That being they admitted that in rituals they kissed the general hindquarters of a statue of the devil Baphomet .. The Templars besides being the founders of International banking, also in their seat at Jerusalem had for several hundred years protected pilgrims journeying to the Holy land ...
Numerous of these Templars , some who were eventually executed (Jacque du Molay among these ) .. and some who were eventually released after losing properties and name .. recanted this confession .. The papal seat also failed to come to the Templar's aid .. as it was in a precarious position ...
As there was really no precedent in pagan faiths for this macabre ritual .. do we now think it's elaboration was a concoction of anything but odd dark sinister twisted

repressed Christian thinking .. or do some still believe that dedicated Christian Knights somehow aspired to be teabagged by a demon?

re:jellybean .. I know this stuff exists .. but sorry - IMO is just more modern paranoic Judaeochristian dualism and wierd imaginings ...
Study Pike's 'Moral and Dogmas' ..found in any antiquated bookstore if you want "real" freemasonic thought .. given Mason's are dry rote inheritors of a dead tradition now ..
But in Rousseau, Montequieu, Voltaire, Franklin, Madison, Paine and Hamilton's ... and many others day .. the Gentile Qabalistic thinking actually had some very ethical currents to its thinking ..
However much a new "paranoic conspiracy" order of thought wants to make a new heresy of it ..
We owe "The Liberty" tree and many other things to this order of thinking ...

jellybean ..please find Pike ... in that day all those people were doing was studying "Torah" with more depth than modern Christians have a clue about .. The only "Satanism" is the perverted mind that tries to twist that into a new "heresy"

re: NeoArt- TY,TY .. yeah I think the lewd neotwit Crowley gave the Masonbashing a huge surge too .. He was a Freemason ripoff blasphemous PT Barnum of Occultism .. people integrating those nasty modern offshoots to bash Rosicrucianism and Masonry have no idea how wrong they are .. and so concise as you mention ..except for persecuting people.. they are ideologically repeating the maleficarum .. pernicious document that that was (for any browsing a guide used in Middleages for torturing witches actually guiding the "expected confessions" ..

I find that the usual accusations come from the darkest side of the supposed "children of the light." I see it when gay marriage is mentioned: first thing out of these good peoples' mouths is "Well, we will then have to allow sex with animals." It is like they are just waiting with their agendas.

Kissing the Devil's hind parts or sexual organ was a common trumped up question. Read Mallus Malfactorum (if you have the fortitude to get through it, which I do not anymore) about how to get "witches" to confess.

Of course, the five-fold kiss of modern pagans may well be akin to what they were describing. Who can say? I was not there.

Pope Clement was bought and paid for by Philip La Belle. May they both rot in the hell they believed in. Nasty twits. No way was HE going to interfere.

I think you might like to read Lomax and Knight's books a bit. _Second Messiah_ is pretty interesting. The Shroud of Turin may well be the imprint of Jacques. Now ain't that a neat thought?!

The esoteric Brotherhood has not gone away. We are still around and accept women as well as men. We are called American Co-Masons. Slow alchemy, my friend.

Write or click on the link if anyone is interested. Not for everyone.

I have read this too. Templars, Masons, Eastern Stars...and their offshoots, are all part of the NWO and the degradation of mankind. They do their evil work under the guise of good, and those at the lower levels may not fully understand, but they are playing with Evil.

BTW, DeMolay is also the name of this Masonic group for young boys, named after the Templar Knight. Starting 'em early. Here are some reputable websites you may enjoy, I'm not making this up.

*I particularly enjoy this last site, as it shows how our Nation's capital was broken down in true Masonic fashion, and even the city layout was based on symbolism and worship to dark forces.

You are not crazy. This crap is very real. These people are evil.

Neither. The secular and church authorities were jealous of the Templar's wealth and power... and fearful of arcane knowledge, thought to be possessed by the Templars, which might be used to threaten or control them. So, false charges of heresy were leveled, and a coordinated strike was arranged, in order to squelch and suppress the Templars, eliminate their influence and steal their wealth.

All the thing represent the greed of Philip the Fair and the weakness of the Pope... and by the way it's Jacques de(not du) Molay :P
