HbA1 is a 90 view of your sugar levels so no fasting does not have a huge impact on HbA1. However, you need to fast becasue they also check your Cholesterol. Tryglicerides and Liver Functions.

Glycosylated Hemoglobin is H1AC, if that is what you mean, no. This test measures liver metabolism of sugars over a three month period, so fasting is moot. Ordinarily tho, a FBS is checked at the same time and that does indeed require fasting.

Hba1c testing used to require fasting but not anymore. Sometimes your doctor may want a fasting Hba1c but it's not always necessary. Follow your doctor's advice though.Good luck with your number! Hope it's right in the zone.

Yes. Go with an empty stomach (without eating or drinking anything) first thing in the morning, for blood test.
