That is kinda funny, but I doubt that a Ken would go for another Ken. Even if he is gay, opposites still attract.
I think I like the GI Joe idea better. He does have that "Kung Fu Grip" which could be renamed "Reach-Around Grip," or "Don't-worry-I-got-you-too- brotha- just- watchout- for- my- new- shoes Grip."
Maybe they buy 2 Barbies, then take one, cut her hair, slick it back, and dress her in Ken's clothes and a wallet chain?

haha that's a good question...but I don't think (I don't say this from experience, it just seems like it to me) that gays encourage their kids to be homosexual, they're just open to the option
