Red equals stop. Green equals go. And white is the confused nothing stuck in between.

red and green,as a dye color are easily found naturally.i watched a scientist make a deep red from one plant and a bright green from another. its all about resources and cost effectiveness.

like....
red for the blood they shed for their country
green for the land the fought for
and white for the freedom they earned
