I used John Frieda Frizz Ease, and I loved it at first, because it really made my hair smooth and straight, but after a few times, it started to make my hair greasy. Just use a little bit, otherwise your hair can look oily.

I'm not african american, but I have very very curly frizzy hair and I have tried EVERYTHING by John Frieda and i think it all sucks, it didn't help my hair at all and I wouldn't waste my money on it...but some good products are from pantene I think and they even have a new african american line I believe, so good luck!

YES! I works really well, but you gotta make sure you're using enough shampoo. Too little and it messes up your hair completely. Also, John Frieda works good for only about 1 1/2 days, so make sure to use it daily!

It's ok, but I prefer Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops. They do essentially the same thing but they seem to be a better product and they come in a pump.

I also use a straightening perm to get rid of the frizzy nappiness of my hair.

Try Silk Therapy. It's the best stuff I have found. Put a nickel size amount in when you get out of the shower. Then style and apply another dime size amount after.

Based on these answers I say it depends on hair type.
It helps mine a little, but I have naturally curly hair and use it to help with straightening. Again, depends on your hair type.

it works great just be careful you use too much it will weigh your hair down and be sure to use a clarifiying shampoo once a week!
