My yorkie's ears weren't coming up either and when he was around 4 we sent him to the groomer for a routine clip and they clipped the ear by the top of his head (base of the ear) and low and behold both ears went up and stayed up forever. Most of the other groomers always left his face and ears long when he was groomed.
If he's really young I would just wait this out since if one is up the other one will probably follow in time and I'm guessing he's just cute as a button looking like that now anyway.

To make the other ear stand, get a green sponge roller from the store (have to buy a pack)...(you will have to shave the baby's ear to do this though)...get some tape from your vet (Johnson & Johnson tape may work for you...I have Great Dane...did not work for me!...not sticky enough)...take the hard plastic thingy out...insert the sponge into ear and tape in place...change every week (do not bathe with it in!)...do this for a few months...it may stand....this is soft enough for him/her to sleep on.

Or every day you can rub from the base of the ear up to encourage the blood to go up there...friend did this to her Schnauzer and his ears stood w/o being cropped...it took a long time though!

Good Luck!

It's a quirk and sounds adorable. Why would you want to fix it? Unless you want to breed it or show it, I don't understand. Sure people get pure bred dogs for the look, but one comes to you that is a little different from the other, unique...I would leave it.

Some puppies are just born like that.Maybe you could try flipping it down or go to a vet if you want to fix it.

puppies ears always do that...sometimes one is up the other down or they switch... once they grow up, the eyes will fix themselves... however in a few cases one stays up (my shelties ear does it)... personally i think its cute and unique...it makes her look so dorky yet cut and funny!

Puppies are like that a lot - it'll go away as he gets older. In the meantime, enjoy it - I think it's adorable when that happens!
