this is an interesting question. i definitely would return it because there are probably pics inside and stuff that can't be replaced. plus all the hassle of having to get all the id cards, credit cards, etc. replaced is a pain. and they worked hard for any money that is in it. i know what it feels like to work my butt off just to make a dollar to buy a loaf of bread. my husband laughs at me cuz if i go over a penny while pumping gas i rush in and pay the penny. i'm just an honest person who looks at things in a different way. if u took 100 people who didn't pay that penny then that store would be losing 1 buck and everything adds up eventually. anyway yes definitely return it.

Yes, of course!
Many years ago while waiting to cross a busy street I saw a small purse fall off the roof of a passing car! When I got the "walk" signal I ran into the street, a bit out of the crosswalk and picked up the purse. I took the purse into a nearby pizza place and opened it and found the owner's id. Fortunatly her name and address matched a listing in the local phone book. I called her house. Her husband answered. I told him I was having lunch there and he could meet me there to pick it up. About a half hour later the woman and her kids flew into the pizza parlor and she retrieved her purse....credit cards and money intact.
She reimbursed me for the cost of my lunch. She was so thankful, because, as she told me, she had had her wallet stolen about a year before and never got anything back. She had to get a new drivers' license, credit cards, etc.
Oh, and she scolded her son for leaving her purse on the car, rather than IN the cars as she had instructed!

i'd do what i ought to unquestionably. If there became into an address there i'd touch it, or if no longer hand it in to the police. Finders can declare it returned after 3 months if no-one has claimed it. My handbag have been given stolen as quickly as, with £10 in it. the money wasnt the subject, it became into the inconvenience of having to alter the residing house locks and cancel all my credit enjoying cards. Then mockingly, some weeks later, i chanced on a £10 notice in the line!

Obviously, it's an overwhelming YES! Please return it to her/him...you would want them to do the same for you. I found a wallet once in the parking lot outside of my apartment with over $100 dollars in it. Let me tell you, it was VERY tempting since I needed the money...but my conscience told me to return it, so I did. There aren't very many good people who would do that unfortunately. Step up and be a good person. Whoever it is will greatly appreciate it! : )

Yes, of course I would, why not? If you lost your wallet/purse, wouldn't you want it to be returned to you?

this actually happened to me & he dropped his wallet with like a few thousand in it. it was right around x-mas & so of course i returned it (not just cuz it was near the holiday). anyways, it ended up that it was his holiday money and his rent money & he was thrilled. but he didn't even give me any reward! what a cheap bastard!
