Wonderful - you wait and see. They change your life for the better. You'll have a completely different outlook on life and the love you feel for your child is something that you'll never have experienced before.

Embrace it - it's a wonderful thing.

I like Marios answer, a great summary: the hardest and simplest thing.

As a very new mum, I remember sleepless nights in the last few weeks of pregnancy wondering, how will my life be, will I love this child, will I be a good mother. Still your worries, the baby will arrive and you will love it and all the other stuff you are worrying about falls into place.

Of course it is hard, there are sleepless nights, you may have tiredness mixed with hormones at work change you, but you will never regret having your child. For me it is the best thing to happen in my whole life, worth all the effort and back to have this wonderful baby

A great help to me was to have the advice of a caring health visitor who said the most important thing is to love and get to know your baby in the early weeks. Trust your instincts. Also the first month is probably the hardest as a new mother as you are getting to know your baby cries and forming rhythms which will make life easier later

As all this is yet to happen, you are worrying about the unknown.

Channel worrying energy to things that will save you time later: having all baby bits ready bought, food in the freezer for easy time when busy with baby. House clean, for it will slip later for caring for your new bundle. Take time to have a relaxing bath and enjoy your pregnancy

Best of luck

Its exhausting, hard work from day one and if anyone says differently they're lying. Apart from that it's the best thing you will ever do in your life bar none. The love you give and get back from your children is like nothing else in the world. It's also when you'll worry the most and I don't think that worry will ever go. Don't freak out, you must enjoy it, especially the first few months as the grow so quickly. If you can get help and support from your friends and family that will make a huge difference. You'll be great.

Its the hardest most rewarding and wonderful feeling in the world!!
when you first look into your newborns eyes nothing else in the world matters. You will be a fab mummy and everyone fumbles here and there but in the end everything works out just fine!!
relax enjoy the rest of your pregnancy knowing that being a mum is a natural instinct that takes over when the baby is born.

Amazing, so grewat, completely undescribable! Pregnancy can be frustrating, labour isnt the most plesant, but the minute you set eyes on your little baby everything just seems so perfect. Its the most beautiful feeling that this little thing belongs to you. Its hard wrok dont get me wrong, the sleepless nights are a killer, but the first smile the first hiccup, crawling, teeth, walking, talking, makes up for all the hard work.
Even when they get to almost four and are really pushing the boundries (my son right now!) you look at them and your heart melts, nothing beats being a mum. Enjoy every second.xxx

It is the most rewarding job you will ever have. I did'nt enjoy being pregnant, however being a mum to a vibrant, confident and sometimes cheeky 6 year old, gorgeous girl is FAB!!!!! Its amazing to see your kid as a 'mini me' with all the extras. Oh, and don't get me wrong there will be many tears along the way but the laughter and pride you will feel will outweigh any of the negatives... You'll be fine

It's tiring, you lose all your identity, you have to consider someone else 24 hours a day. Get used to having very little time, sleep, money, attention from the opposite sex.
But having a baby is worth every minute of it, it will be the best thing you've ever done, you can't imagine loving anything like the way you'll love your child.....that's why I went on to have 2 more of the little terrors.
Good Luck and enjoy every minute of it.

Its a strange feeling at first, having some else rely up on you but it is an amazing feeling. After the first few weeks you get used to the sleep pattern then it just comes naturally. Do not take advise from other people on how to raise your child, you will always know what is bet for them. You will love every minute of motherhood. Just take it all in your stride

Hard, very hard at the beginning. Anything new is not going to be easy but you do get used to it. You will have someone looking up to you now so you'll have to be on your best behavior. All the way from baby to teen years you will have many issues of teaching and raising your child. Make sure you have fun with your child, he/she is a part of you, teach them everything you can. And don't take time for granted.
I have a 4 yr old. I love my daughter she is a gift every day!

Stressful, tiring but the best feeling in the world. The love for your child will be the greatest feeling you've had for anyone before in your life. It's hard work at first but you do get used to it. My son's 15 and I was an only child and didn't know where to start but most of it does come naturally and there's always the health visitor there to help you. Mine was a godsend. Have fun.
