A school physical generally consists of an overall assessment of a student's health. The provider will check height, weight, blood pressure, O2 saturation, and compliance with immunizations, eyesight (snelling eye chart) and hearing (rhines and weber tests) may be checked as well. For a sports physical it will go more into depth. Males will have their testicles examined for abnormalities, such as non descended testicle or hernia. The school physical is not invasive so there is nothing to anxious about, the longest part is the questionnaire.

If you mean the kind in school, it isn't really that bad. They weigh you, measure your height, maybe take your blood pressure, and they may make you go in a room alone. In this room they will want you to remove your shirt so that they can check your back for scoliosis and any other problems. It sounds bad but it isn't. You get a room to change in alone-possible the bathroom and you dont even have to face them. They usually will test your hearing and eye sight as well, which may also be in a room. Yes, people will be watching but you are fully clothes so it shouldn't bother you. In my schools, they have always done all girls, then all guys. If it was the girls day, the guys couldnt even come in the health office.
I'm assuming thats what you meant, but incase you mean the kind before school with your physician, it is just a normal physical. You come in, sit in the waiting room, they call you back, weigh you, measure your height, test your eyesight and hearing then take you into a room. In this room the nurse takes your blood pressure and give you a gown. The nurse leave and then you change into the gown (leave on your under garments). By the time the doctor come in you will most likely have been sitting on the table thing in the gown for a few minutes. The doctor will feel the glands in your neck, look in you ears, mouth, nostrils, and eyes. The doctor will check the reflexes in you knees and listen to your heart. The doctor may also check your back like the school would do, only now you are in a gown. The doctor will ask you questions, answer truthfully, and he may do some othe things, like if you have been having knee pain he'll check that out, etc, etc.
I hate physicals but really they aren't that bad. Good luck!

For a school physical, for instance- if you were going to try out for the basketball team, all they do is check your reflexes, your heart beat, just basic stuff. The doctor asks if you have any allergies and etc... nothing to worry about.

^^ Dont listen to him..Its not a stupid question
In a school Physical (Ive been to several) you ususally get your eyes tested, your ears checked, sometimes they look in your mouth, and on rar occasion they check for some back disorder. If they find anything wrong they refer you to a doctor....
