Different dealers will tell you different things. For the most part and if you review your warranty terms that you signed up for, the company (ford) would only warranty stuff on the truck that came as OEM or original. If your stock exhaust system suddenly cracked and leaked then ford would replace it under warranty. If you placed a "cat-back" exhaust system on your truck then obviously ford would not guarantee it. If your aftermarket exhaust should for some reason fail (like a fire from the exhaust being too close to the bottom of the truck and caused other damage to the truck then that is also something ford would not cover (which is fair).

Warrantys are usually spaced out in system/section(ie. exhaust, drive train, body, motor, suspension). If you modify any of them it only voids the warranty of that particular system/section and not the entire vehicle.

The only way I see that a mod would void your entire warranty is if you put in an aftermarket computer controller or chip in. That basically controls all the functions of the vehicle. If any of them fail then obviously ford would not guarantee it since it is not their stock tuning that caused the failure.

Good luck....

diverse sellers will inform you many issues. For the main section and in case you evaluate your guarantee words which you signed up for, the employer (ford) could in elementary terms guarantee stuff on the truck that got here as OEM or unique. if your inventory exhaust device unexpectedly cracked and leaked then ford could replace it below guarantee. in case you located a "cat-decrease back" exhaust device on your truck then for sure ford does no longer assure it. if your aftermarket exhaust could for some reason fail (like a hearth from the exhaust being too close to to the backside of the truck and brought about different injury to the truck then it extremely is additionally something ford does no longer conceal (it extremely is elementary). Warrantys are many times spaced out in device/section(ie. exhaust, power practice, physique, motor, suspension). in case you alter any of them it in elementary terms voids the guarantee of that distinctive device/section and not the completed motor vehicle. the only way I see that a mod could void your finished guarantee is that in case you put in an oem laptop controller or chip in. that in the process fact controls each and each of the needs of the motor vehicle. If any of them fail then for sure ford does no longer assure it as a results of fact it is not their inventory tuning that brought about the failure. reliable success....

I doubt it but the dealer can tell you for sure. Most exhaust systems are from the catalytic converter on back anyway (cat-back) so that would have nothing to do with your warranty.

It's up to your dealer. Having a Mustang and hearing others stories with these cars and exhaust changes, I'd say it could be a problem if they want to make it one. Now another option is to have your dealer install it, if they are a Rousch or Saleen dealer you could have options there that are what you are looking for with no worries.

it shouldn't do as Ur exhaust is not covered in the warranty, but i would check with the dealer, to be one the safe side, let them know exactly what one Ur putting on, then get it in writing that it wont affect Ur warranty, then they cant go back on it later

Check with your dealer... some manufactures are funny about modifications to anything....they don't mind voiding a warranty...that's cash in their pocket...
