That their god and/or text is less mysterious is hardly grounds for it's superiority.

No its not the Question of Hindus or Christians or Muslims...
In Gods Eyes we are all the Same.
1. First Consideration is the Audience ...
When Jesus wass preaching he had a very tough Audience.. the Shephards.. he had to perform miracles in order for those people to believe him and follow him ...
But Krishna was Speaking to the Great Kings who where very much learned and had many good quality... Great Sages Recorded Bhagavad Gita ...
2. Freedom of Preaching ..
We see that when Bible was spoken or Quran was spoken, the Saint had to be very careful with the people... We see for what Jesus preached, his followers Crusified him and even denied him for saving their own life ...In such Circumstances how much could he preach ??
But their was no such limitation imposed when Bhagavad Gita was spoken.. Though Spoken in the Battlefield, the Army on other side where still more qualified not to attack while discussion was going on ...
3. Bhagavad Gita had the Backing from so many Vedic test ... 4 vedas with millions of Sloka, more than 108 upanisadas, 18 Puranas and many Shruti and Smriti Sashtras... where would you find such knowledge on earth ?
4. Bhagavad Gita is in Sanskrit which is a very reformed and difficult language ...Hence it was protected and not changed...
The Sages Preaching Bhagavad Gita had full faith in Bhagavad Gita being the Final text and infallable... and never changed it...
Unfortuantely the Christian followers do not have that faith and they continuously keep Revising Bible...
Ofcourse Jesus did not speak in Contradictions but so many changes done has lead to apperent Contradictions ...
So you have to consider these my friend

Bhagavad- Gita was written in one langauge and is a book in a "regional" religion. When I say that I mean that the religion was developed and stayed in that region for a long time. In fact it is questionable if you can really be hinu out of India, because the Ganges is so important.
Anyway, the bible has been translated into more langauges and (ready for this) our source documents are older and we continue to find source documents that pre date our oldest.
When they unrolled the Dead Sea Isiah scroll and compared it to what we have in our bibles today, they found virtually no difference. The difference they did find were only in small gramatic...

If you take it as fact that the Bhagavad-Gita has fewer contradictions than the Bible (and I'm not entierly sure how you would go about measuring such a thing), you must still consider the relative lengths of thw two works. The Bhagavad-Gita is about 150 pages and the Bible is about 750 pages or five times as long. So if your study found fewer than five times as many inconsistancies in the Bible than it found in the Bhagavad-Gita then it has actually proved that the Bible is MORE consistant than the Bhagavad-Gita.

This is because the Bhagavad-Gita, unlike the Bible, is not made of so many books and has not gone through so much different translation.

There are no contradictions in the Bible. There are a number of gramatical errors. That is because the Bible in the common language Koine Greek, and not in more formal Greek. It was written to be read; written as letters between fellow-Catholics.

WORD OF GOD [BIBLE] is infallible. Only people who interpret think it should be interpreted in this way or that way. Bible exists from the time this world was formed. So it has stood the test of time. All the rest are just books.

there are not contradictions in the bible. i've read most of it. maybe it's been misinterpreted. if there are grammatical errors, i haven't seen these either, that might be a translation problem. congratulations on realizing yourself.
