The way I see it is that most religions are way past their sell-by date resulting in corruption, hypocracy and bigotry

This makes it hard to keep the faith, especially if u are a christian, cause theyre waiting for Jeseus and hes already been and gone

I subscribe to the idea of continuous revelation - we have to keep up with the unfolding universal truth - like Bob Dylan says ; "the times they are a changin."

It's impossible and yet we strive for it.

Romans 3:22-28
"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. "

Acts 24
"However, I admit that I worship the God of our fathers as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect. I believe everything that agrees with the Law and that is written in the Prophets, and I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man."

If you stay focused on what really matters in life, family, love, friends, doing good things for others, that makes it easier to keep the faith.

What is hard for me is when I see and hear a lot of negativity around me. But if I tune it out and focus on what matters, then it is better.

I hope this makes sense.

It's not very hard if you have a fellowship group to study and fellowship with. Your faith is a lot stronger if you have someone to share it with.
