You know it through many things, especially if it seems you're having a hard time with your faith, or if you feel like God isn't listening to you when you pray and etc. There's a sense of something "missing" in your life that will allow you to realize that you're under bondage. You'll wake up one day with a huge "why me" complex, not realizing that somwhow you've come under bondage. There may be something you need to work out with God or ask forgiveness of, who knows? but when you DO know, it'll be easier to get back on your knees and back into the Word to reestablish communion with God and be restored.

If you hate what you do and still do it, you under the bondage.

For example.
A slave cannot get out of serving his master even if he does not like serving him.

Many people do not like to do certain things. But at times they do it. By this we know that we are under the bondage of sin.

Pray and ask GOD. Holy Spirit will reveal it to you.

God Bless,
Edwin.

When it seems to you that everyone else is under the bondage of sin, that's an absolute indication that YOU are under the bondage of sin.

Romans 6:22 (NKJV)
But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

Romans 8:2 (NKJV)
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Which would seem to be a pointless if it is directed at non-believers. Non-believers do not acknowledge sin or Jesus, so why would a non-believer care?
