Last year I could not figure out anything to get my hubby for hid birthday. So I took him away for a nice romantic weekend. We stayed in a super nice hotel, had candle light dinners. I also took along some massage oils, and cute nighties. He said it was the best present I ever gave him. Good luck.

Give him the gift that only you can give: you. Plan a weekend somewhere. Even if it's alone at home. Dote on him. Talk to him. Remind why you married him. Tell him you'd do it all over again. Lovemaking is always good, but it isn't the main thing.

I think just have an agreement not to bother with gifts for one another year after year and then Chistmas, ect. I haven't given any gifts for a long time and freeling someone else from the obligattion is probably the best gift, of itself.

Have you asked him to give you a realistic list of what he may want for his birthday? Otherwise, a giftcard to an autopart store or handyman store like Lowe's is usually a safe bet.
You could also go and get Glamour Shots of yourself have them framed and give them as a birthday gift.

i have found pretty neat stuff at red envelope! they have a website and catalog.
i got my husband this really neat swiss army pen! all of his work buddies were instantly jealous and the pen is very guy-gadgety!
also, i like getting him clothes, so i usually order some shirts from the GAP or Land's End. whatever your husband's style is!
or, you could just treat him to a nice dinner and movie and you for dessert!!!
have fun!

throw him a b-day party at the strip club, that's what I'm planning for Dave on his 32nd next year. 32 is just like turning 23 you have to treat it as such.
