The Lens MOunt is the way in which the Lens attaches to the Camera body. Each lens has this built in and you don't buy them separately.

A Lens Adapter adapts the lens to another camera body. They are purchased separately and one can fit many lenses to one camera body.

The lens mount is where the camera body and lens attach to each other. An adapter usually goes on the front of a lens to attach something to the lens.
