Atheists are just fine. However, a christian pastor confessed to me recently and said:
It's all the same, only the names will change
Everyday it seems we're wasting away
Another place where the faces are so cold
I'd drive all night just to get back home
I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
Wanted dead or alive.

Huh? Care to rewrite that question in English?
I'm going to assume that you meant "does being an atheist make one feel like a 'wanted man'?". To that, the answer is 'yes'. Here in the United States an atheist is treated like a criminal. It's a serious problem, and the most obvious way in which the US falls behind the rest of the western world.

Atheists make me feel safe.
They value life more than theists, who believe they will live forever anyway, so dying is no biggie.
Atheists are loving and kind for the right reasons, not to gain brown-nose points with some cosmic bellhop.

Atheists make me feel like I am not along in the universe with a bunch of crack pots who believe the universe was created in six days by someone who goes around inseminating his seed in unsuspecting married virgins.

Atheists don't want you at all. Jeez, get over it. Your persecution is all in your head.
On the other hand, just 'cause your paranoid, doesn't mean people aren't out to get you. Hmm yeah watch out for the guy w/ the red bandana.

For me, part of being an atheist is being open minded and showing respect for other peoples beliefs. I don't say i have all the answers but equally i don't want others scoffing at my beliefs.

That's Outlaw not cowboy. Do you feel so? That's because you keep trespassing on other peoples belief.
And thats against my law.

I can't say I mind about what kind of God people believe in, if they do. In my point of view, being a human being who does not kill anyone and does not abduct innocent people and "judge" them for "crimes" is more important then what God you believe in. So yes, Atheists are better people then "Rabbi" Simcha Cock-sucker or Pat Robertson.

No, they don't. Most of "atheists" I know are respectable persons who don't care about religious & spiritual beliefs.
I don't mistake them with "anti-theists", who try to convert others to their non-beliefs, in a similar way as that of religious & spiritual fundies do.
