If you are engaged to be married, that's one thing. If he's a boyfriend that hasn't proposed, I believe that you are still in a sense single who's got strong feelings for a really close friend. I don't think there's anything wrong with meeting other people. As long as your boyfriend isn't possesive and aggresive. Also as long as you guys don't live together. If you do live together, you need to consider the term, "why buy the cow when the milk is free". I did that for too long and wasted some good time that I could have been networking and socializing to find Mr. Compatible. Be wise.

Really, what are you doing, hanging on to the one you have until someone better comes along? Leaving your options open is the definition of being single. How about if your boyfriend got numbers from other women?
If you want to be single, be single, if you want to be exclusive with your love interest, be exclusive, don't try to be both!

...honestly... it depends on how my relationship with my boyfriend was going. If it was turning sour and this guy at the pub was really attractive, I might. Who knows, until I have a ring on my finger technically I check the 'single' box on forms. So single I am.

Unless you are engaged or married, then you should not cheat. Other wise, you should make more friends. You and your so-called boyfriend are not exclusive until you are committed to each other in marriage. Living together with your boyfriend is not a commitment.

well, I know girls that have done that before... if she does, and she has already told you that she has a boyfriend, it means she views you as nothing but a friend.... if she never mentioned the boyfriend, it means she's probably a cheating ****. The word "ho" isn't short for housewife

If I have a boyfriend, and I don't want to mess up that relationship, NO, I wouldn't give another guy my number.

I would, but it doesn't mean that I will become involved with him. I would ensure that he knows that I have a boyfriend already so he won't think I am leading him on.
