I have a pit, her name is penny and she now is 6yrs old. Most dogs live anywhere from 12-15 yrs. depending on how well you take care of them. And for sure you have a vet and have regular visits. I love my dog and she is an angel. Alot of people have a negative attitude about this breed but i personally think any animal is what you make it.

if you keep it healthy at least 15 years+. The smaller the dog the longer it lives. Thats why cats live to be like 20 years old. So keep you dog very healthy and it will make it to maybe 20.
