After all, faith is simply believing in something for which there is no (or contradictory) evidence. Why should my faith be less worthy than yours?

Sound good to me.

I wish you all the best on your path.

Let me know how it works out for you. Okay?

I have faith in gravity, centrifugal force, and other laws of nature, though I don't think about it every day. If your dog rules your life, then your faith is well placed. No faith is unworthy, or less than another, it's up to each of us to determine our own faith....and I'm not speaking purely on religion either. I'm talking about everyday faith that lets you tie your shoes, walk out the door, go to work or school, and keep trying.

If you have faith in a higher power after the basics, then that's entirely between you and said being.

You never know if he is God or his best friend because dog is spelled god backwards. Am i right or wrong? It doesn't matter who your higher power is or who you believe in. All you have to do is believe that there is a God. It seems to me you do, and from my understanding dogs are always there when you need them the most, I believe there are guardian angels from up above.

I can't. Your dog is god. I don't think that yer dog holds exclusive rights on being god but hey, thats the nature of these questions....everyone loves answering them cause you can't be wrong. Whenever I ask a practical question nobody ecver answers.

Dogs lick their own butts, does that sound like God to you?? Has your dog ever fed loaves and fishes to 5K people? Walked on water? Turned water into wine? Died for the sins of mankind?
Faith is the evidence of things unseen, the belief in a higher power.

heh this is funny, but honestly if you consider your definition of God to be your creator and your dog did not exist before you than it can't be your creator, unless it has a time machine hmmmmm. actually when i was a kid i used to think that we are kinda the Gods of our pets but more in an imprefect personal diety like anchient greek gods than a omnipotent being like Yahweh.

Who are we to know? Or judge? Which of us can say what religion is right, or wrong? How do we know other than faith? I know what I was taught at a young age says you are wrong, but, are you really?

It's not less worthy. But if I were you I'd treat the dog really well.

According to Aquinas, reason will take you to the edge of the chasm, but not across.
Faith gets you across, but man, thats a pretty big chasm there...
